Unfortunately, Nnamdi Kanu set the Southeast ablaze with his unguarded utterances and outright lies.

Trillions of Naira have been lost in investments, thousands of innocent lives wasted arbitrarily by those implementing his orders.

Today, in court, he is denying every word he said and claiming ignorance of the far-reaching consequences of his utterances and activities as IPOB leader. Unfortunately for him, the Nigerian Secret Service does not need to be exceptional in order to play his video or audio evidence to him.

Many bloodsucking politicians, activists, journalists, asylum seekers and different sets of people are making huge political, social and economic capital out of the monsters that Nnamdi created in the Southeast, by denying his culpability and rather turning around to blame governors and security agents who are working to restore normalcy in our cherished land.

As an Igbo leader, in my own right, I would support a political solution to Nnamdi Kanu's case, only because, worst terrorists from other parts of Nigeria have benefited from such lenient treatments, not because I believe that he is innocent. On the contrary, I believe that Nnamdi Kanu is the worst enemy Ndigbo have seen since the civil war.

Going by what is happening in court, it will be the biggest upsets of the century if he does not get convicted. But after his conviction, I would wish that a settlement is reached, where he apologises to Ndigbo for deceiving their youths and destroying our land, and in turn, he regains his freedom and plays an active role in clearing up our bushes and rural areas of the young people he deceived into taking up arms against their kith and kin.

May God bless Ala Igbo!
