NJABA EXECUTIVE/ LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL WITH NJABA COUNCIL STAFF MEETING

The Director of services Njaba local government civil service chapter MRS Umunna Magrath (DARS) who opened the meeting with advice on how to dress to work, smart dressing is the code of every civil service staff, buying of expensive clothes and shoes does not make you look good but putting on from hair to toe what is expected of you. Clothes that will allow you work freely and smartly.

From your appearance people will know you are a civil servant, learn to dress to work, there is difference dressings to church and dressings to office work, you are not expected to appear like a market or politicians at the office. 

Mrs Umunna Magrath who spoke vividly on absent and lateness to work. Most people has made it choice to absent from work, week to months because of electronic payment system of salaries, from now henceforth such attitude will not be accepted, the commissioner for local government civil service commission has mandated us to report such person or if eventually find out, the director will face the penalty which no body want to take such risk.

 

From today henceforth every staff of the council is expected to come to work 2 to 3 times a week which is fair and justifiable. Their is none among the staff that earns below forty five thousand naira per month.

We have to redeem the image of the local government staff not by staying at home. 

Hon. Obikaeze Anemem who spoke extensively on his experience as Solad and let them know that today the current local government chairman is not solad but executive chairman, they have to work together with him, he is a capacity leader and a closer friend to the governor.

We all have worked hard to return peace in Njaba LGA, and God may have it this is the first local government who returned peace since the uprising of crisis in Imo State. We have to sit up and come to work without giving excuses.

Ibenjo Chigozie Abana Njaba legislative Leader who pleaded to Njaba civil service staff to help us to work efficiently and effectively because you are the tires of the council which we drive. With your contributions the local government chairman will do more for all of us. I strongly believed in his quality leadership skill.

who thanked the up and doing staff of Njaba to continue their good works at the end we will all smile together. And for those who has excuses to sit up and come to work, we want everybody contribution and effort, let us together work in peace and synergy to prosper the local government council.

Let those who are laze or scared of work should wake up to reality, those who are absent will enjoy absence. Those who contribute nothing will take nothing from government all we want is everyone contributions. Tell your colleagues there absent endangers those who are present work.

If only we all can put on our best to service, the local government will be more better off. Imagine what we have achieved at this low turn out let alone when we all are active and prolific.

In our next meeting let it be full house, absent will not be accepted from anyone. Njaba LGA has four hundred to five hundred staff who earn there salaries without hinge or obstruction. Take this message to your friends and colleagues for posterity record
